So I actually got pictures of my skirt and Thomas' pants... And I'm putting them up today... WOW! They must have gotten something right in my meds this time! :P

So these are Thomas' pants...

And this is the TuTu skirt... Im thinking of trying to make this one from scratch, and hopefully it will turn out... Ill post my other creations as they come along... hopefully... lol

Which brings me to my other thought... Tonight as I was trying to get dressed to go out for supper with a Girlfriend, I looked in my closet and thought with a very large internal, and external sigh: "I have nothing to wear".

Now for anyone who knows me, that is a lie... I may not have a room full of clothes, but I do have a closet full, a dresser full, and there are a LOT of shoes in the bottom of my closet... at least 50 pairs...

Whenever I get ready to go somewhere, or even just to get dressed for the day, I always wish I had more clothes. When in reality, I have tons of clothes! And they're all pretty decent! I have never had to resort to wearing a paper bag. I have enough different clothes that the first year of Highschool, I wore a different outfit every day of school for nearly two months. For those of you who need a calculater like I did, (lol) thats 40 different outfits... and those are just casual outfits! thats not even stuff that I would wear to church!

I think what I am trying to say is that when I look in my closet, I should think, "Thank God, that I am so blessed to have such an assortment of clothes. To not have to wear the same thing day after day, knowing that if I wreck it, Ill still have to wear it."

A lot of times I know that I take for granted what I have, and dont always realize just how blessed I am. How even though I dont have the coolest job, or the fastest car, or even the best of everything/anything, I have Jesus, and in reality, thats all I need. He makes me who I am. It wouldnt matter what I wore. I could even wear that paper bag and I would still be me. So although my flesh wants more, I think Ill try to be content and thankful with what I have. Although I'm not opposed to any blessings in the clothing department. :p

Time flys...

So Ive been slightly neglectful in my blog writing... For those of you who pay attention, and have been poking me (thank you Rachel G.) and telling me to get blogging, thank you.

I havnt really had anything to write... Not that I havnt had the time, if I actually did stuff instead of procrastinating, like how Im supposed to be starting supper right now, and vacuuming, I could have written a lot... But I didnt... C'est le vie...

Things are much the same. Im still living at home, I am not attending school, as of yet, but I have a few ideas up my sleeve... they have yet to fall out but Im sure in time that they will. I am still working at Superstore. For those of you who's jaw just dropped, Its the people that work there (well most of them) that make working there worth it. The customers, well... They have their moments. (Yes, I realize we're under construction, I too have noticed that Produce is just inside the front door now, and there are big plastic tarps hanging from the ceiling....) O_o Im not even kidding...

In the travel aspect of life, I spent 6 months just working, and then finally got on a plane and went to California. Sanfransisco with some amazing ladies, and then we all trecked up to Sacramento for a three day conference, which I enjoyed very muchly.
This summer, Im supposed to go to Tulsa again in July, but have also been invited to back pack Europe with a friend late in August... I'm trying to fit them both in, but unfortunately I'm not made of money, and I dont know how happy work will be with giving me ANOTHER 3 or 4 weeks off... I'm sure I could convince them ;P
I also realize that I have greatly neglected my travle blog, and I promise to update that with at least one post soon... (So by Christmas for sure... lol)

Lately Ive been in a bit of a creative mood, I even have someone to blame... Actually two people... Thomas, and Desiree (Roo)... Miss Roo and I went to the local VV Boutique, and found a very cute black dress, and a jean skirt. Due to the fact that Roo is about as big around as my pencil, I have to take the dress in... The skirt although long, isnt very wide if is just sew up the slits, so I have to come up with an idea to fill them... I have two ideas and will have to fill you in on how those go...

Then Sir Thomas, decided to up and leave for Calgary... (Have fun, you will be missed)... I realized that I have 2 pairs of his pants under a chair in my room that have been begging for my attention. One pair needed a minor repair, and the other pair had some major issues with holes. (and they think toddlers are tough on their clothes (-; ) We never really coordinated on what fabric he wanted me to use to fix the holes and stuff, so I just left them... for about a year... Becuase he was leaving, I decided to get my bottom in gear and get them done, I picked the fabric, let him look at it, and then did them. They look awesome but I failed to get pictures of my creation... Ill have to steal them back to do that and post them..

Thinking of pictures, ill also have to post one of my denim Tutu thing that I created... (it sounds really weird when I say it like that but I absolutely love it and will have to find a way to make another one...)

Ive also been toying with the Idea of doing more sewing and then selling it... not like from a pattern, but buying jeans, and making them into skirts... Or something else equally as funky...Not massed produced but individual, no two peices the same... I have another sleeve full of ideas for that, so ill have to see what happens with that idea... Any thoughts from the Blogging crowd?

In other news, we moved churches.... I have some pictures of the Youth group, as well as the church that I should probably add sometime... I am super excited to say that God is moving and making way for what should turn out to be an absolutely incredible summer! We are having special services in July, to dedicate our church (July long weekend, and you should all come!), and Brother Platinea (sp?) is coming to preach revival services at the end of June, July... Needless to say I'm already incredibly pumped...

And I think thats it.... I hope you all are doing well, and I will quit procrastinating and actually get on here once and a while! As for right now I should probably get the vacuume out and start supper...
